I was listening to this interview and the good stuff this guy says about gold... i believe him but we cannot hold 300k of gold at home. We cannot travel with 300k of gold in the suitcase. Also #gold can be faked, a gold bar or bullion cannot buy you a bottle of water unless buy the entire store stock. #bitcoin is clearly superior here...
$300k of gold coins is about 10 pounds at current prices and can be stored in a home vault or transported in a suitcase.
There are fractional options for gold like combi-bar (1g pieces, worth maybe $70 at current prices), goldbacks (1/1000tz pieces worth around $4 at current prices), & digital transfers.
Dont make me laugh... would you really go around with 300k worrth of gold? Ridiculous

I am a super normal pleb and i can have 500k worth of bitcoin in my possession and still travel the world with it ... just needing a piece of paper with 24 words
Honestly this is something in mainstream economics I don't understand
Supposedly people trusted the banks because the paper notes were more secure than the gold
Which I guess could be true for a check but certainly not for bank notes, since if someone steals the paper notes they get the gold
So how does carrying your seed phrase on a piece of paper make things more secure? I guess you could only carry part & memorize the rest, or just carry a hint
