Were the owners really just "influencers?"
This is starting to play out as one of those "look over here, not over here" type of stories.
It looks like they ran an animal rescue program, and these were their pets of many years. They used social media to promote their rescue program is what it seems.
Someone called animal control, and the state came in, raided their house, confiscated the two pets, and euthanized Fred and Peanut.
I have no reason to not believe the story yet. But…idk 🤷♂️
