I did distro hopping for like a full 10 years, building up different linux setups, destroying them, and building them up again. Creating backups in different ways…

But now i have one Void Linux installation, and an OpenBSD installation. I run the maintenance scripts i wrote once a month, and nothing else. Because Void is rolling release, and im running OpenBSD current, i haven’t had to do anything else for a LONG time.

Im wondering if some of my skills are atrophying because the systems are so stable…

Void since '19, it's good.

I love it.

what window manager or desktop environment?

Sway on laptop, plasma on desktop, wbu?

Do you guys use the musl or GNU libc implementations?

Yes, but also, who cares?

me.

Then get another laptop or box and start playing around again, without messing up your good setup you've got now.

I've landed on my main computer or a media server being a stable distro... But the laptop changes distros every few months 😏
