I don't know about the situation in the US, but every teenager and young adult I've come across in the last 15 years has wanted to end their life at some point and is on some kind of medication. This includes not just Brazilians, but also some international people I’ve talked with (otherwise I'd easily say they are just depressed for being Brazilian 🤣) . So I can actually believe in it. If there's a psyop at play, it's not about faking the data. It might just be that western society in general isn't that much rewarding for young adults.
