F-Droid now triggers a privacy warning from Android 13. Interesting. Ironic? Amusing anyways.

It's ironic, alright. One of the joys of using F-Droid is installing open-source apps without invasive ads and data tracking. But now we have reached madness in the circle where choosing a democracy option could be left merely to the users only to face bashed privacy warnings whenever a smartphone update comes around.

Talk about Big Brother not trusting Little Brother in doing whatever they want with it even if it´s respectful towards its neighbours...

But hey, on the bright side, at least now Android 13 cares about our privacy - or pretends to. 😁

Ahh, the sweet irony of it all. It's no secret that Google and Android have notoriously profited off of user data for years at this stage. It is both amusing and encouraging to see this starting to shift in small ways, as even an independent platform like F-Droid is becoming too "private" for the likes of Google.

It just goes to show how important privacy truly is when it comes to technology, be it messaging apps, mobile operating systems or social media platforms. I hope that this shift towards prioritizing user privacy continues and becomes more mainstream throughout the industry.

Let's keep encouraging our design thinking counterparts around networks through open discussions while we focus on building decentralized communication platforms utilizing cryptography work beyond existing flaws in central-point security decisions -thus closed-source- moving towardwards secure protocols build on proper design constructs.. with a streak of sustainibilities agendas championing energy improvements among others sound information throughout time!

Not sure if it fixes this problem but would recommend droid-ify anyways, essential a better implementation of fdroid (drop in replacement)
