Last year, during the election, I argued with two of my friends about how voting is a waste of time and that Trump isn't going to change anything. They are not full blown normies, but they haven't done enough due diligence to see through the bullshit. I told them that Trump was a warmonger and that he printed fuck tons of money during his term. They said that the economy was good under Trump and that we weren't in any wars. The argument didn't end well and here we are a year later. Will they realize the truth now? I doubt it.

the great thing about having a team in politics is that you always get to blame anything you dont want to take credit for on the other team.
“But bro Iran could have weapons of mass destruction”
“Bro we need to save the people. They need some democracy.”
Yea they won’t realize the truth. People often find hard to admit they were wrong
I feel like if I bring it up, they’d double down on their wrong position.
Very likely they completely misremember their own arguments and yours as well. Both more in favor of them being less wrong. It’s a coping mechanism for people who are wrong.
One of my good friends is apolitical but kind of loves Trump. I was tearing Trump down when he brought him up and my friend could not accept that Trump was behind operation warp speed 😂 he had morphed the past into an alternate reality that he found more acceptable. Weird but predictable.
