Yes, that was an issue with NIP-26

I want to use subkeys for all sorts of things. For example games, a step counter, how much water I drink. I dont necessarily want all these things to be in my personal feed.

But I do want relays to know that it's a legit account related to me. And then I can also protect my master key.

I could also have workers or bots under my control that help me, talk to DVMs, do sub tasks and so on.

Most clients already use NIP-05 so they can safely ignore subkeys. But the ones that do can have an extra bit of verifcation without adding more complexity.
