I had to order a few more boxes of flooring, but stoked I eyeballed it and managed to get the exact wood flooring to splice in with the original from 1972.

Proof of work.

First time installing wood flooring, first time "lacing" new with the old.

Dude, I would try and fix anything myself as it comes up. Within limits of course. Sickkkkk pumped me up lol how my brain works

Thanks! I'm finishing the floor, then I'll sand and finish, fix the walls and add can lights, bring in the cabinets, vent hood to the outside.... I've got a full plate, ATM, but learning new stuff along the way.

Knock yourself out. Working on anything and getting it to finish line gives you the sweet sense of ownership. Heck yea cheers ✌️
