Ditto.pub | Seewaan.com or any of its sisters implementation are worth exploring.
The explore (no pun intended) tab is very powerful especcially if you want to search languages.

Ditto's community building aspects tied with exploring other communities is powerful. I hope we can build it out with a new tech stack.

Communities (Policies) are fantastic + Search function is well above average.
eCash is also being implemented.
The only two things that are missing from a full experience are DMs and LongPost. LongPost is not a priority though.

the ecash I believe is a NIP-60 so if you have some that you received from #olas they should technically show up. its still iffy though.
I usually can it just takes a few times to login. It might be a backend issue
