Iβve never been, but their billboards stand out amongst all the βfor your emmy/oscar considerationβ ones

Hahaah they certainly do look good π₯ Iβd go if I was out there
Ahhhh Irwendale...
Great for 2 things. Ren faire (read: busty corseted ladies, turkey legs, and a e throwing) and the Irwendale speed way (read: busty ladies and amateur Thursday nights meaning all the local cool cars come out because you can race on the track as long as you buy racing flats.)
Never took my Chevelle because I'm worried about people dinging me, but at the same time on amateur night it's rare that I've seen a crash because people are careful with their babiesπ€·π½
Ren faire is great.
Hot!
But amazing.
I like to dress up as doctor whoπ€·π½
I like doing the star trek thing. Have "period" costume with a com badge pinned in a no super obvious spot.
Lol nah I went once in college right when I started getting into Doctor Who. I went as 10. My friend found the perfect jacket and went as Martha. Which is hilarious to be because time travel isn't very good for black peopleπ€·π½
Anyway, there were so so so so many ladies who worked for the Ren faire that wanted to take pictures with me. I had another friend meetup and was like oh wait. Let me go get my TARDIS shirt from my car. So we were a little crew. I had one lady in a bonnet come running "DOCTOR! DOCTOR!" and she had a sign that she made that said her other wagon was a TARDIS. We took pictures. It was fun.
It was addictive. So I can't not go as a time traveler, but specifically out here the nerdy ladies to for doctor whoπ€·π½
I love both of those franchises, I have doctor who figure I bought at harrods and a ferengi patch on my bag, Iβm not quite sure how to articulate it but I think Iβm more likely/comfortable to end up in a tunic and landsknecht shorts than carrying a sonic screwdriver or wearing a combadge, despite having very little interest in historical or fantasy renaissance era.
