So something higher than a tag? category?

Maybe tags with priority not to have to modify the protocol?

I always faced this issue when implementing classifieds or other poc social networks. Ended up using both a single category and tags. The categories had to be hierarchical to accommodate different types of an ad. Which then led me to recosider flat tags lol...
