Career is a belief based on the idea that you can go higher or further measured by a standard that you did not create yourself.
To pursue it is to run faster in someone else’s labyrinth, mistaking movement for meaning.
A “career” is just a treadmill with a title. And the belt speeds up every time you hesitate.
