Oh, my.

Cuz I sense that it is near

What do you mean?

After ego death we can act more from our higher self, instead of the egotistic self. It’s an upgrade :)

Who are you? That's your real question.

I know that already šŸ˜

Good luck! I wish you the best

Likewise! Knowing who you are is a first step, followed by becoming and insisting on it. It’s a never ending beautiful journey and I wish you lots of adventures and growth as well šŸ˜‡

Trying to kill your ego is simply acknowledging its existence. As Lao Tzu said, ā€˜He who knows others is wise; he who knows himself is enlightened.’

Temet Nosce🫔

Interesting, and correct!

Awareness and recognition have been the first step. But just to know there’s an egotistic is not enough to not act from it… there’s now the discrepancy between knowing better but not able to actually do it, hence ego death might be needed, indeed.

Have you ever seen the movie "Revolver?"

I don't recall that I have!

Screenwriter Luc Besson is making it look promising!

It's all about the ego... Although you don't realize it till the end. Highly recommend at least a one time watch. He wrote it in response to "Fight Club"

Love Guy Ritchie

The only one I didn't care for was rocknrolla.

I remember him doing an interview where they asked him why he didn't write female characters, and he straight up said, "because I don't understand them." And that movie proved it. Female lead made no sense at all.

I don't think the ego can be killed directly. By attempting to destroy it, you focus on it & ironically give it more power.

What you might want to try is starving it of it's sense of separateness.

Fight your internal judge & victim. These are the 2 aspects that the ego depends on for seperation. Comparison is food for the ego & also the thief of joy.

I agree. Ego can’t be ā€œkilledā€ completely as we need it to operate still if we follow school of Freud.

I guess for me at this point it’s more about how do I drive actions from the higher self (which is above the 3 aspects from Freud) and not the egotistic self.

Life without an ego will be incredibly boring and I guess I like fun too much still šŸ˜…

The Best time to kill your ego was 20 years ago, second best time is today

The book, Letting Go by David Hawkins comes to mind...

or...

"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate." - Carl Jung

As for me personally, not ready yet as it still fluctuates wildly but I understand this is just my current season. The only thing I'm certain of is...

...is that Love is the answer ā™”

You are appreciated, btcviv šŸ‘Š

r though ā™”

Thank you šŸ™šŸ¼

Carl Jung might have been Bitcoiners’ favorite philosopher šŸ˜‚ I’m also a fan!

And yes - love is the answer!!!! To everything really!

(Can’t seem to see the image with my relays.)

I can see thatšŸ’Æ

Hopefully you can see this one;

if not, c'es la vie🤭
