Occasionally I have to try more than 1x to send a zap. I do get unable to zap from time to time.
Yeah I tried a few times. I would love to know where the error comes from through. I switched from minibits for these type of errors so I am not feeling comfortable to just let it hang out there as a normal thing. There is I am sure explanation that devs are more qualified to speak to.
I noticed this too. Zaps have been super spotty on primal lately. Couldn't reply to notes either.. Now I run Alby hub with Amethyst and it's quite reliable.
I am guessing a different experience on your feed though?
Both clients seem to behave the same but I'm not avid or technical enough to detail all the differences.
Specifically though, zapping on primal felt instant which for me was the main gratification. On amethyst its like a few seconds slower but the zaps always work.
Customizing the zap amounts on Primal rendered them useless and unlike amethyst you cant customize your like emojis etc. These are some misc things I've noticed.
Thank you! Been using amethyst for 13+ months and I like it. However, I get a different feed with primal, for instance @hodl may have not appeared on my feed on amethyst so I spend a few minutes on primal to connect with more centralized group of accounts than my 2+k following... Yes, losing zaps and can't zap seems to be the a real situation here. It doesn't matter if Amethyst work if a lot of people use primal and can't zap you! It's a failed experiment. I am also paying a monthly app membership for primal that includes media upload files which I can't upload successfully. So doesn't seem like the paid membership should have been shipped yet.

Great message. If I had the means I'd stop working full time right now just to spend time with my kids before they get much older and drift away to their own lives. My biggest daily challenge is saying goodbye to them each morning. Breaks my heart every time.
you are using Primal... I would assume is client related, try installing Amethyst of Damus as well and try again. you can run many clients with the same nsec
I am aware. I have different algorithm with each. Once a zapping opportunity is missed, it is missed. I am not going to login to another client, search for the npub and their note to then go ahead and zap them.
Ironically I swapped to CoinOS because I was having issues zapping WoS addresses.

looks like I could zap you. the challenge is not that it doesn't workm but that it is randomly and selectively working.
