Although I enjoyed bitcoin adoption last 10+ years (especially the investment returns), I am really looking forward to the vertical part of the S-curve in the next halving period (2024-2028)🚀

I don’t believe this chart is fundamentally sound

There is little reason why the Bitcoin exchange rate would level out at a certain USD evaluation. If Bitcoin reaches 10M a coin (210T market cap) it will be in large part due to the collapse of the dollar. Bitcoin will have started it’s transition into Unit of Account, and demand for dollars would be collapsing compared to demand for Bitcoin.

Essentially, the Bitcoin price chart in the vertical part of the adoption S curve will resemble a J, not an S.

I think 10M by 2028 is extreme hopium and would only occur if the US Gov. and broader financial markets almost completely dissolved. But either way, plotting a price S curve makes no sense.

Thank you for the post. Adoption plus scarcity are the right factors to track, imo. Will be great to see this play out. Another period of low prices first though please!

Just a thought, but it would be great if you posted the image here on Nostr. Then people could engage here rather than going to Twitter.

Is it possible to link to nostr from Twitter? The link works the other way around, of course.

Me too! Where did you get the data from?

Looking forward!

I can’t even imagine how amazing it would be to see Bitcoin catching up to the adoption curve
