I have hundreds of lines of old immediate mode OpenGL to update like this, because client thinks using a free 3D engine that could import the CAD models or assimp is “lame.”

Same person told me “real programmers use C++”

C++? No way. Real programmers use Assembler. And they code their own operating system before they code any application logic. That's why developing a simple calculator app takes at least 10 years. 🙄😆
