That content rebroadcasts Willy nilly so I’ll see that content if I’m on eden or not with in a couple of minutes if not seconds of one of your thousand followers interacting with it in my home feed if I’m your follower. It’s just an author to author proposition about discovery in the global feed.

this is a shitpost, i assume, but this will absolutely happen. clients and relays will seek out sponsors at some point down the road. clients and relays will also inject ads too. it's all going to happen. and when it does, everyone single person that's here now will not use those relays and clients. we'll go elsewhere. the open and free market will prevail!
I’m not arguing about the existence of paid relays. But it’s a discovery mechanism not for your home feed. Until pay to read is a thing. Relays can’t inject ads into my home feed, and a reader can pay a client to not inject ads into my home feed. The majority of super awesome followers who are just readers and repliers don’t care about being discovered.
