indeed, sorta looks like he might actually have been quite brown. it's also notable that the council of nicaea compiled a bible and prescribed a number of apocrypha that did not include the book of enoch, which was very influential at the time of jesus, but the orthodox kept it, as did the jews (their version is super weird tho). the book of enoch was actually practically burned all across europe by the catholic church and only was recovered in the 1700s when someone encountered it with the ethiopian orthodox church.

the dirty history of the catholic church doesn't get talked about enough. going fahenheit 451 on such an important text should be alarming.

Yeah the I influence of Nubia during the old and new testaments has really been watered out, and for reason.

Apparently Moses was black too, but then imagine worshiping Black Moses and Brown Jesus as a European..
