I don't know enough to do any of that without huge security risks, so I refrain entirely until I either learn enough to operate my own stuff or find something that doesn't use services that I find abhorrent.

You COULD do everything from inside a Whonix "workstation" VM. No matter how badly you screw up, the most you can leave is a Tor exit IP and a (generic) Whonix browser fingerprint.
(This assumes basic non-tech OPSEC, of course, but you got that)
(And assumes that there are no secret flaws in commonly used encryption, or if there are, that the exploits target Putin over you.)
It will be slow, if you have good internet. No real change, if you have bad.

I just don't know enough to di what I want most of the time. I don't know what I don't know, so, it's really frustrating.
