giftwraps are pretty complicated and have a completely different model for sending and receiving them. Unless you’re using deterministic keys theirs no way to load messages you sent unless you have them all stored locally, but once you reinstall they would be gone. There are many ux concerns like this which were not considered at all in the spec.
