The 🇪🇺 European Council is set to regulate that by 2027, all #phones released in the #EU must have a replaceable #battery that the user can themselves easily replace.
At first you could welcome this idea, but it’s not the battery that needs replacement but the never ending operating systems updates that requires more performant chips and more storage.
Is the European council about to regulate that also?
