You’re on your #phone browsing and you see a #lightning payment barcode which you need to scan with your lightning app on your phone. what do you guys do? Take a screenshot and then use some sort of camera app to copy text so you can paste it in the payments app? that doesn’t seem like a great user experience.

Apple will build in systemwide QR interpretation just like they did to the photos app, they just haven’t had the impetus yet

They’ll also eventually auto-parse LN invoices and such, and give you a choice when clicking whether an address is email or lightning

I can’t speak for Android, I don’t use it

Ok until then the devs should also provide a link below barcode to copy the LN string so it can be pasted somewhere else like wallet app. That is all I am getting at. Just showing the barcode is not enough.
