Fun night at work 😂 Had about 10 homeless set up camp in front of my store. Bags, bikes, etc everywhere, leaving a small path for customers to get to the front door. I'm the only business open on the block at this hour, and the rest of the sidewalk was clear, fwiw.

I asked them politely to leave, but they declined, preferring to talk back and threaten to vandalize the store. Politeness went out the window immediately. Thankfully, I have a large frame, a booming voice, and DGAF. Once I advanced on them, and made it clear that they should GET THE FUCK OUT, they moved along pretty quickly. The key there was clear, consise, one way communication, loudly. ALL CAPS works IRL too.

That's done now though, in the past. I'm gonna have beers, joints, and cuddle with my dog now.
