Yes, I agree with adults, but kids I think it should be banned. They shouldn't have that done under any circumstances and it shouldn't be taught to them either, there's been timed where even their parent is against one of these surgeries but the state forces it and and says they can choose. A 7 year old would eat chocolate for dinner if they could decide for themselves, why are we letting them choose something so life altering or even life threatening.

I've even heard of parents being charged of abuse and have custody of their kid taken for rejecting it.
The government isn't a freedom lover. It has way to much control in things it has no business being in.

I don't really remember anymore, it was a while ago so just a speculation for now.
See that’s where I have a problem with this, some cases seem to be made out to epic proportions but it’s mostly hearsay.
I’m not saying there aren’t edge cases but there are also people looking to make political capital out of kids lives.
If there’s a credible source by all means share it. I think the trans thing has been blown up to epic proportions, particularly on social media. It really is great for engagement, regardless of position… So long as the position is extreme.
I think kids should be protected too. They are very much capable of making poor life choices and they should also be protected from those wanting to make political capital from what can be a very difficult time in life to navigate.
A lot of young people struggle with identity, that’s a huge part of growing up. Some kids will make lousy decisions. Others though will be in therapy in their 40s saying they always knew they were different.
There’s two sides to this coin and kids wellbeing should be at the top of everyone’s consideration.
Yeah, exactly. And instead if the kid is struggling by all means help them through it or find someone who can.
I do one day a week with a Youth Charity and we’ve seen this issue close up. There’s some very complicated issues at play here and this kids going through them are in a dark place indeed. Any sign of difference as a teenager can be brutal in terms of bullying etc.
I’m not an expert in these matters by any means but the media version of the issue is very different to what I see in real life.
