Running and showing it off on the internet used to be cool in 2009. No one gives a fuck anymore and people with brain gradually stopped sharing their location completely. Shortly after this foursquare died as well around 2011.

Couldn’t agree more. Why in the world would I want random people to know my run path ? Kudos from some rando? If you enjoy socializing so much just find a running partner.

It’s good if you want to show off your routines to get whacked for insurance money 😂 I used to run a lot before and sign up for all kinds of races to force myself to train and run on those days. I friended the regulars I met on Garmin Connect to have a dick measuring contest in who runs how much in a week and so on. But I still didn’t let them see the map even though everyone else was sharing everything.

I would think runners are more humble and don’t care about social media.
