I am sick to death of hearing somebody trot out "True Scotsman" when I say "done right." Believe me, there are lots of ways to approach techniques like Mob/Ensemble programming (or almost anything else in the Agile Toolbox) that render the technique ineffective or worthless. It is not "True Scotsman" to point out that when you pervert a way of working to the point where it's unrecognizable that your perversion won't work.
