I think I now have my #HomeAssistant "Koda Home" automation right.

When it detects my phone reentered wifi, it decides I'm home. Then it waits till the door of my room is opened.

Then, it greets, turns on a couple low lights.

If it's too cold out for the heat pump, it turns on the resistive heater, 74 F.

If it's blazing hot, it turns the pump to AC at 73 F, and enables boost mode, waits till the room is below 75, then turns off boost and sets the heat pump to auto.

Else, heat pump auto 73 F.
