What model?
Mechanical latches like shown here should appear in most in the front, and I remember them first hand from a Model 3 and Model Y.
Hmmm, what about the back? I was in the back and couldn't find anything.

In the door side pockets in current models like Model Y somewhat accessible, more hidden in some older low volume models, allegedly under speaker grills in early Model X backdoors.
