Freecycle.org is a great website to offer and find free stuff.

My wife has been asking me for a while for more laying boxes since she wants to double the chicken flock..

Found these two lockers on Freecycle, pulled the doors and latches off, screwed them to the studs, added a roost/access bar and voila

Hopefully the hens like them!
