I was positively surprised this summer when my wife switched from CaptureOne to LR+PS. Adobe did a great job with these two. The rest of the CC stack is still crap, especially AI.

I'm glad you asked. Affinity Designer! It wipes a floor with AI, and it's dirty, cheap, one-time pay.
