That's the quote I was thinking of. The broader gist of the post seems to be "we'll use nostr but not invest in it". That's a pretty crummy position for people plan to "suffer nostr's shortcomings until it works". The two are at odds, and short-termism makes long-termism more painful.

If that's not your position, then feel free to clarify, but that's the impression I got.

Maybe an important clarification would be "nostr as social media" rather than "nostr as an architecture". The network itself has the bear the burden of all the use cases currently attempting to be fulfilled on it.
