Dude, this happened to my family in the 90's. Our "lease" at the city cemetery expired, and the new one was way beyond what we could pay. So everybody up to my great grandfather was taken out and unceremoniously dumped into a mass grave. From that moment onward, we have always cremated and thrown the ashes somewhere nice.
