This argument is so boring

Yeah I know think so too. Funding is one of those things where there is no perfect solution, the wins come out of no where and can't be predicted, and the entities looking for funding fundamentally need funding so they're always desperate.

I think searching for a solution where nostr devs always have a flow of funding could exist but probably don't. Will always be a battle for funding and that's ok, wins and losses.

Semi is not wrong to bring up the question. In my view, no one or no org should be beyond question.

Personally to me opensats means it buys more time to jb55, to pabloverse, to hodlbod etc to build the things that will bring and keep people on nostr by virtue of creating a unique and awesome experience not to be found anywhere on the corporate gulag web.

Can it be better - sure start your own opensats - lets get more money, and more decision makers with various perspectives.

Is it better than not having funding? I think so, as otherwise devs would think more about other work to feed their families.

100% agree, like I said, very boring argument to be bringing up repeatedly
