grounding.
what do you know? what do you think?
There’s definitely something to it
it's good to put your bare feet on the earth
Been sleeping on a grounding pad (earthing brand) for a year and makes a significant difference in how well I sleep and energy in the morning.
I also walk barefoot in grass every chance I get now.
I also read this book, very interesting to see all the results from different studies. Definitely scientific evidence that it effects the viscosity of blood and overall blood flow to different parts of the body.
Seems like a good idea to get outside and walk around barefoot. It’s good to connect to earth.
There’s a lot to it.
Pretty easy to test. Insulate a patch of grass so that you cannot see or feel the insulation. Make people walk on it barefoot. Is there a difference?
Barefoot on a grass feel great. Doubt it insulation has any effect.
I think it's unproven pseudoscience. There are probably benefits to barefoot walking on uneven ground or sand, but they have nothing to do with an "excess of electrons" in your body, and likely have to do with building minor muscles and tendons used for stability, which lead to joint health, consequently reducing frequency of inflammation (which is exactly what grounders/earthers claim are the benefits).
