Replying to Deleted Account

I’ll be nuking my nsec shortly to reincarnate into a new nsec and was interested in the mechanics of this #primal feature.

Does it just delete all notes and media or does it delete everything? How does an nsec get nuked?

Your notes will be deleted if relays honor the deletion request. Not sure how Primal handles media.

Let me be clear, I am not sure if Primal sends some sort of a delete all notes request. It seems you will just be deleting your nsec, but likely your notes will live on unless you manually delete them—then it will be dependent on relays to honor the request. Again, I am not sure how Primal handles media in this case.

Thank you for clarifying :)

The last nsec I retired I manually deleted (requested deletion) thousands of notes and replies which was an arduous task. I’m hoping this ‘big red button’ can make achieving a clean start a little easier.
