Usually the arguments by here are along the lines of you might hurt somebody's feelings and I just kind of laugh at that.

Although I will say even in the case of true human suffering, like Uno pointed out, even that can be funny under the right context because a lot of what I think comedians do is they point out things that you might not necessarily think about. It might sound dumb, but there's been a lot of social issues that have been pointed out to me and I've been made aware of due to the fact that a comedian made a joke about it first and then you actually think about it and you're like, oh wait, like the way he said it is funny, but that's actually really fucked up. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
