Replying to nobody

They don't make much of anything on gas to start with. Local owner told me ~.01-.03

They make their money off stuff inside. Be interesting to see how the finances of drawing in this many customers falls out.

Almost no one is going in stores though. The lines are nuts. All day non stop entire parking lots full, backed up onto roads. I could understand gas being close to a loss leader on normal days, but almost no one wants to wait in a gas line for 10+ minutes then go into a convenience store.

Tragic. My local gas station has become "the spot." Some of the best food and ice cream in town. It's needed. Local jobs, local owners.
