yesterday my son and my daughter told me (not in these words) that I wasn't playing in such a fun way. after that I relaxed and we had a lot of fun together. guess I really have to remember it is also fine to act ridiculous or say ridiculous things. I over analyse almost everything and take it too seriously. I often need to remember to take it easy.

Not sure of your free time, but I just read Momo by Michael Ende. It's a fiction peace but the allegory of time and the child like nature hit me hard.
I find it keeps me in the immediate present more. Just a thought
A few years before having children I started preparing. after they were born I realized that no amount of knowledge could prepare me for the learning I would experience with them. I think the only possible preparation was to make room for everyday learning. my children invited me to delve deeper into myself and that was challenging and beautiful.
I want to read this book. I'm truly amazed about children.

WoS is custodial so its easier but they hold you funds.
