Yes it sure can. I actually did this I have three walls currently running off of 4 100 ah 12 volt batteries which in turn are connected to solar. After a tornado hit last week and the power being off for three full days you can hear all the gas generators in the distance super loud and obnoxious unlike my quiet solar generator best decision ever.. highly recommend to just do it

Family’s good house is good but the tornado tore out a dozen trees from the roots which blocked the roads with 40-60 inch diameter trees couldn’t leave if we wanted to took a few days to clean up definitely need to have a better game plan for disasters like this my dumbass was watching it through the window it touchdown across the street from us the winds were bending the 150+ foot tree tops to the ground it’s almost unreal to see it first hand
