For example, on universe tab, first post stays blurred for me:

Actually, I think I figured it out. Looks like I need to be following the poster. If I follow the poster, then revisit the video, it plays.
Still, it’s a bit of a pain to have to do that for every video
You can turn off all blurring in settings (always show images)
