In the end, Tony is a cold blooded killer. Only rules he follows are his own. The code, respect, everything. It’s all BS. He does what he wants.
The biggest hypocrite in the show
Maybe it’s a social commentary on higher ups in companies. In the end they do whatever they want. No matter the rules they set
government, corporations or gangs
In the end, the ones on top set their rules. No matter the official rules. If they don’t like you, you’re screwed basically
Yep. You see this at every hierarchy level

Similar to eyes wide shut
That was an excellent one
It was and supposedly it is the movie he shot.
What do you mean? Power dynamics in company/cult?
Kubrick shot the movie but he died and that wasn’t the movie he exactly made. It was rearranged and made much more tame.
Oh so he died during production. Do you know who finished it? I really liked the movie. Would be curious to see his vision
The studio I think. It was fully shot but not narrated. My understanding there was a lot of disagreement with the studio happening also. I have heard Tarantino talk about it. Pretty interesting.

I operate like that to a greater or lesser degree. Though I wouldn't go as far as killing anyone.
The killing is the big problem 🤣
Ha ha, I am IN NO WAY, like Tony Soprano but what I mean is, I do tend to follow my own rules🙏🏻.
Makes sense. Everyone does to a certain extent. It’s hypocritical in his case because he talks a lot about the old school, respect, having a code. When push comes to shove he never follows it
