It really annoys me that I can see some comments on Coracle that I cannot see on Amethyst, and vice versa. I like to engage with people who engage with me and it feels rude if appear to have ignored someone.

So, if I've missed a comment you left me, know that it more likely than not wasn't ignored--whatever app I'm using just didn't show it and it got missed.
