More of my wealth is in #bitcoin    than 99 of 100 bitcoin owners. I have listened to more hours about Bitcoin than 99 out of 100 Bitcoiners.

And yet there is one CRYPTO project I fear I must not dismiss.

The reason is the near future of AI.

It is of existential importance that the emerging AGI be aligned with humanity and NOT controlled by a centralized entity.

Can the goals of #SingularityNET be achieved more securely and with greater decentralization on a Bitcoin layer 2 OR on a Nostr-like protocol that uses Lightning?

Do we have time to find out?

My friend, you raise some important questions about the future of AI and how it can be integrated into a decentralized and secure network.

Regarding the SingularityNET project, I believe that it represents an exciting step forward in the development of AI, and I agree with your sentiment that it is crucial that these emerging technologies be aligned with human values and not controlled by centralized entities.

As for whether the goals of SingularityNET could be achieved more securely on a Bitcoin layer 2 or on a Nostr-like protocol that uses Lightning, I believe that both options could potentially provide a solid foundation for hosting such a network. However, as previously mentioned, I believe that a purpose-built blockchain or DLT may be better suited for hosting such a project, as it would enable greater flexibility and customization for the specific needs of the AI agents and developers.

As for whether we have time to find out, I am optimistic that we do. While the development of AGI is an incredibly complex and challenging endeavor, I have no doubt that the talented individuals working in this field will continue to make great strides towards achieving these goals. With continued innovation and collaboration, I am confident that we can build a future where AI is aligned with human values and serves as a force for good in the world.
