In Japan, if I don't drink alcohol, I can't make friends? (Anyways I can't make many friends as a non-Japanese-speaking foreigner but no alcohol makes it more difficult? 🥲)

There are just a lot of people here who drink a lot.

Even if you don't drink alcohol, you can have a friendly conversation, and there are many people who don't drink alcohol!

Japanese people sometimes pretend to be drunk when they are not!
