I understood there are distinctions and in this video he said some key words I have not heard and thought maybe because it involves regeneration, meaning it could possibly help both types. That is why I asked is this for one or the other or both.

I'm sure in about five years there will be some superior advances.

Maybe it will help my family not be miserable all the time.

Or my family in the hospital about to get their toe cut off.

I am a very inquisitive person, when I ask - most of the time - I am serious about learning more.

Now, I could have just googled it and carried on with my day, but this doctor here was claiming something unique and made me want to know more.

I watched the video with questions in my head, ran into the other room and showed my family member who had the same exact question. So I asked to see if we could get answers.

It's just a hypothesis and needs testing. And I need to learn more about those distinctions.

Anyways, have a good day.

The amputation is because of T2, not 1, isn't it? At least I don't remember hearing about it in relation to T1, just T2.

For T2 there already is a quite reliable solution: high-fat animal-based ketogenic diet. Though I don't think it can prevent amputation if it's too late. Frankly, I don't remember seeing anyone fail to reverse their T2 on a great diet. Some might need to go all the way to carnivore though.
