Today's myth about Thailand 🇹🇭 (#4) is that it's dangerous here.

This is probably the most laughable myth I've heard about Thailand.

I understand why it exists: I grew up in the USA 🇺🇸 and the brainwashing that "everywhere else is poor and therefore dangerous" is strong... but you are more likely to die in your local grocery store in America than literally anywhere in Thailand.

Thailand is by far the safest place I've ever lived in my life. There is virtually no violent or petty crime here.

Imagine if the entire world was your living room - that's what it feels like to go anywhere in this country.
