The puck has lower velocity and larger impact. The split came from the pressure between the puck and your head, I imagine, something like popping a pimple with a hold ball. The bullet, faster, smaller, lighter, didn't compress the ear against anything, went right through the skin like a needle through fabric. This isn't conspiracy, it's physics. Meanwhile, hockey players wear their scars like medals. Trump probably had some cosmetic work to fix it up.
