I actually did that. When I deleted and they asked why I was more than happy to tell them I wasn’t going to be profited off of and my rate for data extraction was… ;)

Excellent! I’m planning on doing the same with my account before the end of the month. I had held out hope that maybe we could change their minds but I can see that’s never going to happen now.

I’m going to miss Reddit but at the same time the Reddit I know has been gone for awhile now.

At least we have Nostr now. Zaps are way better than karma anyway. You going to get yourself setup for zaps?

At some point I will, need to dig out the wallet app so I can set it up. I didnt post to Reddit a ton, but I see where this will lead in 6 to 24 months. The company and the site won’t die, but I want no part in what happens next.

Same here. I’m shocked how many users are defending the company against the protests. I no longer recognize Reddit.
