I went out for a gallon of water, some chicken and duck eggs, and some money from the ATM. I ended up visiting three different islands, helping the locals load the boat with wood three times. I spent the rest of the day cutting splinters out of my hands with a razor and tweezers. Then, the wheel came off the tuk-tuk, and the driver had no jack and didn’t speak English, so we ended up lifting it up ourselves. Despite the challenges, we got the job done. It was a quality day, to be honest.
