I finally decided to run a LN node. I had a running pruned node, so started a fresh one without pruning. In the time it's been synchronizing fees have gone parabolic.
I'll have to let the hype pass before I can afford to open a channel lol.

It helps that an old laptop fell into my lap and had nothing better to do with it at the moment. I didn't want to unplug my current node without having another one connected already
